Fluides et écoulements complexes : des solutions pour l’avenir

Presentation symposium 1

This one day event will gather regional and national scientists active in the field of complex flows and complex fluids along broad and strongly interdisciplinary lines relevant to a number of key industrial sectors: health, polymer processing, composite advanced manufacturing, food, plastics, pharmaceutical etc. Though each of the afore mentioned fields clearly involve both key words “complex fluids” and “complex flows”, the cross-talk between them is often unsatisfactory which sets the global scope of this one day event. Besides the central aim of “vulgarisation” of the research activities, the relevance of this event is two-fold.  First, the event will contribute to the awareness of various strongly interdisciplinary research activities involving complex flows and complex fluids carried on by different regional and national research groups. Second, the event will allow developing interdisciplinary collaborations and mounting collaborative projects such as a national Groupement de Recherche on the broad topics of complex fluids or common grant applications.
